Our Team

Diana and Tim Travis: Founder/ Director

The Genesis of the Vision of Crown Global Missions goes back to 2012 when Diana had a dream. While planning her next vacation to Italy with friends she felt a detour in her heart. That detour came with a dream, in the Caribbean assisting the late Pastor Ellen Thomas of Jamaica. This dream tugged at Diana’s heart for days and after consulting with Pastor Ellen who has been praying for years for missionaries to come and help spread the gospel to the children and families. Diana’s assignment for the Mission field began.

Diana has a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Bethel Seminary. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Minor in Anthropological Studies in Multi-Cultural which has assisted in her love for people, culture and community.

Diana has traveled across Europe, Canada and parts of the Caribbean as an evangelist and speaker. Diana alongside her husband Tim share a heart of passion together for Jesus Christ and a love for the gospel and his people.

Dorothy Burnett (Tennessee)

Dorothy Burnett has been a part of Crown Global Missions as an Evangelist and Speaker who loves to share the message and teaching of the Gospel. Evangelist Burnett is a member of Saint James, CGC, Showers of Blessings in Memphis Tennessee. As an Evangelist Dorothy has ministered to the poor, the vulnerable and less fortunate throughout her Ministry. Her passion to see souls saved has taken her to Israel, Canada, Europe and the mission fields of Jamaica ministering to inner city kids. Evangelist Burnett has been with Crown Global since the beginning assisting in all areas needed. Evangelist Burnett ‘s love for sharing, and mentoring people in helping their faith grow while spreading the message of salvation has touched the lives of many worldwide.

I am Meskerem Gebremskel, I have been in the US more than twenty years and married and have four beautiful children . The last four years, Ethiopia has been in a crisis of its own with the government and the opposition. Particularly in the northern part of the country specifically in Tigray and Amahara Due to the conflict, there are a lot of innocent people displaced by the war and left in shelters, majority of them are children and women The government soldiers were in crime spree raping women and children, killing and torturing innocent people.

James & Ester, (Myanmar)

James and Esther are passionate cross-cultural missionaries who through a holistic approach, make Christ known to the people who have never heard about the gospel message. They are founders and pastors of Abundant Life Center (ALC). They planted a church in a poor community on the outskirts of Yangon, the former capital city of Myanmar (Burma). They serve the community by sharing the love of God through education, community development works, and food distribution. 

    They believe in community transformation through the message of truth in the power of the Holy Spirit and experiencing the abundant life that Christ came to offer, both in the present life and the life after. Their passion is to come alongside and help restore broken families, marriages, and churches through resources with Biblical teachings.

     They believe in changing the world for Christ, who is the King of kings and Lord of lords, by working hand-in hand with like-minded partners locally and globally. James was born and raised in a cross-cultural Christian missionary family among the Naga people. James surrendered to Go’s calling as a young boy and now shares as second- generation cross-cultural missionary among the Burmese, Indians and others.

     Esther grew up in a business family, city girl, but after marriage, they were trained as linguists and served in Bible Translation Ministry. They also translated books and Bible training materials from English to into Burmese and Lisu languages. They are board members of Family First Myanmar, Language and Social Development Organizations.

Apostle Eric Simmons (Showers of Blessings)

Apostle Eric Simmons (Showers of Blessings)

Eric D. Simmons is a life-long member of the Saint James / Showers of Blessing Church of God in Christ located in Memphis, Tennessee. In that capacity, he serves as Senior Pastor and Apostle. Pastor Simmons faithfully followed his childhood pastor, Superintendent Elmo Randolph for over 30 years and in January 2012, he was appointed to lead the Saint James COGIC.

 As a member of the fivefold ministry, Apostle Simmons has a passion for the perfecting, empowering, and equipping the Saints of God for ministry (Ephesians 4:11-13). Apostle Simmons greatest joy is to minister to the needs of God’s people. As a wise master builder, Apostle Simmons leads daily in prayer, bible teaching, and leading the people of God to be all that God has purposed for them to be in the Kingdom. To that end, missions and soul winning is an integral part of the call of God that rest upon Apostle Simmons life. (3 John 1:4). We have been honored to assist Crown Global Mission over the years in that work.

Eric is a lover of people, especially children, as exemplified by his 20 year career in education, where he had the privilege to advance from classroom teacher to school administrator and ultimately to the principalship.

Although retired from the education arena, Apostle Simmons currently works in the financial industry as a Registered Representative, Licensed Principal, and Financial Planner for PFS Investments.

Pastor Cynthia W. Williams (Beth Israel)

Pastor Cynthia W. Williams (Beth Israel)

Pastor Cynthia W. Williams is a dedicated servant of God with a lifelong commitment to ministry. Born into a strong Christian family, she was raised with a deep love for the Lord and began her faith journey at The First Church of God in Christ under her uncle, the late Bishop James Feltus Jr.  Pastor Wiliams she was called to the Missionary Field in 1979.

Over the years, as an Evangelist she has served in numerous roles, including Sunday school teacher, prayer warrior, worship leader, and Bible study instructor. She has conducted revivals, led workshops, and taught theology classes in Louisiana, Washington D.C., and online. She is also actively involved in prayer ministries and has traveled to Korea, Japan and Israel.

 Pastor Williams is a graduate of Southern University of New Orleans, where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree, also received a Master Degree in Counseling from Xavier University and has had theological training from Feltus Theological Seminary and Refreshing Spring COGIC Bible Institute. Now residing in New Orleans, Louisiana, she is dedicated to Serving the Saints at Beth Israel Church of God in Christ and continuing the mission of her late brother, Bishop Lawrence A. Walker. She stands firmly on John 15:7: “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” She dedicates many hours of her life to teaching Bible Study, an Intercessory Prayer hour, and leadership classes.
